Water: A Business Imperative is a series of business-led roundtables with government, NGO and UN representatives to discuss water policy and management. The series will begin with local events in five African countries and then culminate in New York at a side event of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in June.

The ultimate objective of Water: A Business Imperative is to facilitate responsible corporate engagement with water issues in a manner that reduces business risks while positively impacting nearby communities and ecosystems.

The Water: A Business Imperative roundtables will provide an African business perspective on water to feed into and support the global discussions led by the UN Global Compact CEO Water Mandate.
